Ameson Course Overview
The Ameson Institute of Foreign Languages operates primarily as 'embedded' programs within some of the highest-ranking elite public high schools in the eastern China region (Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Shandong).We operate one year foundation courses (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT prep) courses and 3-year courses using the Advanced Placement USA High School curriculum (courses taught entirely in English) in the following subjects: Mathematics, English Literature, World History; Economics; Chemistry and Physics.
Courses are taught by both Chinese and native English-speaking teachers. For the native English teaching positions, we require a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a western university (US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, UK) and 2 years of teaching experience (some exceptions are possible, depending on the quality of the candidate).
2010-2011 teaching positions:
Mathematics: 1 teacher needed in Yixing.Physics: one teacher needed in each of the following: Nanjing; Yangzhou, Suzhou, Yixing.
Chemistry: one teacher needed in each of the following: Nanjing; Yangzhou, Suzhou, Jianyin.
History: one teacher needed in each of the following: Nanjing; Changzhou, Jianyin.
English literature plus foundation teaching: one teacher needed in each of the following; Jiangyin; Yixing; Kunshan; Hefei; Shaoxing; Shanghai; Jinan; Handan.
Economics: one teacher needed in both Jiangyin and Yixin.
Combined history & literature: one teacher needed in both Nantong and Ningbo.
IELTS: one teacher needed in Ma'anshan.
